Why Northeast AI Talks?
Northeast India is home to over 220 indigenous languages — many unwritten, most understudied, and nearly all absent from mainstream AI research.
Northeast AI Talks exists to change that conversation. Each session brings together the people doing the work — linguists, data practitioners, community contributors, and AI researchers — to share, learn, and build together.
This is a community finding its own voice in the age of AI.
